I came to Lisbon almost by chance. I was finished with my first period of studies in general psychology at Madeira Island (where I am originally from) and decided to go to the Portuguese mainland to complete a master degree in work psychology. I submitted my application to Lisbon because it's the capital, but in fact I didn’t know much about it. But the destiny had a little surprise for me...
On Valentine’s night, Lisbon introduced me the love of my life: Luís. We met in the typical neighborhood of “Santos”, and in that precise moment, our
beautiful story began.
Despite the fact both of us were only temporarily in Lisbon, this magical city has arranged everything to bring us together. Now, we are living our love story together in this bright city where fairy tales happen. Every monument rises from history and where the culture can be tasted and heard through the local gastronomy and "Fado", our local music. Now tell me, how could I not be in love with this city?
P.S.: According to Catholicism, the blessing saint of Lisbon is Saint Anthony, known as the matchmaker saint. A funny coincidence.
